MIKE Myers, the Canadian-born comedian and screenwriter, flew into Fiji last week for some well deserved rest and relaxation from his hectic Hollywood schedule.
"It's my first time in Fiji but it certainly won't be my last," the actor said, as he disembarked from a Pacific Island Airways seaplane at Nadi International Airport.
Myers' movies include Wayne's World, The Spy Who Shagged Me, Austin Powers and The Love Guru. He is also the unmistakable voice of Shrek.
Myers is not only a reknowned actor, he is one of the fortunate few who has successfully established himself as a screenwriter and producer.
He was recently cast in Quentin Tarantino's World War II revenge saga, Inglorious Bastards, in which he will play the role of General Ed Fenech.
The mega star soaked up the sun at exclusive Namale Resort in Savusavu and said his stay was "immensely enjoyable".
"I love this country and its people," he said. "I really am having a great time here.
"It's such a beautiful place, you should count yourselves lucky," he said, before striking up a pose for The Fiji Times camera.
Fiji has hosted many Hollywood stars in the past such as Nicole Kidman, Celine Dion, Tom Cruise and Petra Wilson.
